My best Aldo’s Adventure gameplay, so far

Aldo’s Adventure is a nice shareware platformer for DOS, developed in 1987 by David Ibach and his son Benjamin and inspired by the classic Ladder.
In the early 90’s I enjoyed playing Aldo’s Adventure on our 286 PC compatible and more recently on modern machines, thanks to emulators such as DOSBox and PCem.

In this video, I recorded my best game ever, so far:

Compared to my previously published gameplay, now I started mastering the jumping to a higher level technique, which allowed me to take some shortcuts, saving precious time in levels like Long Island.
The technique is described in Aldo’s Assault (the second sequel to Aldo’s Adventure) instructions, and requires some coordination in the release of the directional keys (right / left cursor) during a jump:

So, this is my best achievement so far. Has anyone managed to go further?
