Ladies and gentlemen, here is my second entry to the BASIC 10Liner Contest 2021: ROUTE81, an action/racing game for the Sinclair ZX81 (with at least a 4k memory expansion).
Drive your shiny sports car along the most iconic highway in computer history! Avoid the other cars and going off the road.
The game has been entirely coded in BASIC language and the program is only 10 lines long. Due to the 10 lines limit, as per the competition rules, I had to cut some functionalities such as score management, since the ZX81 BASIC interpreter only allows one statement per line. However, I think It’s still worth a play; of course, suggestions for improvements are welcome!
